Why Blog?

So I haven't ever started a blog before.  Most of the people who would want to know the things from my blog would probably already know most of what's posted.  So why bother?  I decided with our upcoming Europe trip and our current Ireland trip that an easy way to keep in touch and share what's going on as we travel would be a blog.  I may post other things as well, but at least our friends and family can keep up with what goes on while we are gone.  Hopefully they (you) will find it interesting.  Happy reading from Cork, Ireland.
